Strategic learning design for systems, leaders and educators
I partner with government departments and education bodies to design professional learning that is clear, engaging, and built to scale. From leadership development to system-wide programs, I help turn complex ideas into learning experiences that work in the real world.
Trusted by education systems and public sector organisations
Partnering with education systems and government organisations to design learning for leaders and educators at scale.
A strategic learning partner, not just a course builder
Effective learning design goes beyond assembling content or building slides. It requires a deep understanding of learners, context, and outcomes.
I work as a strategic learning partner, combining educational leadership experience with learning design and visual communication to elevate professional learning across systems and organisations.
My role is to help you architect learning that is purposeful, coherent, and genuinely useful for the people it is designed for.

How I support learning at scale
As a learning designer, I work with you to design and develop professional learning programs with a strong focus on supporting school leaders and educators.
My work typically includes:
Architecting professional learning programs from concept to delivery
Co-designing learning journeys with internal teams and subject matter experts
Designing engaging, accessible online learning experiences
Translating complex policy, frameworks, and research into practical and visual learning
Ensuring learning is consistent, scalable, and aligned to system priorities
This approach is informed by over a decade of experience as a teacher and educational leader, alongside extensive work within government departments and education systems. I have led and contributed to system level learning initiatives, facilitated leadership workshops for school and system leaders, and supported large scale programs across multiple jurisdictions.
This means the work is grounded in practice, realistic to implement, and designed to function within complex environments.
Our learning design process
A structured, collaborative approach designed to work within education systems and public sector environments.
Scope + alignment
We confirm outcomes, audience, constraints, timelines, and success measures. I review your existing materials and frameworks and set up simple ways to collaborate.
SCOPING + CONTEXT + SETUP
Co design foundations
We map the learner journey and agree on structure, sequencing, and activity types. This stage creates clarity before anything is built.
CO DESIGN + LEARNER JOURNEY + STRUCTURE
Storyboarding + planning
I translate draft content into a clear blueprint. This includes chunking, rewriting where needed, and designing interactions that suit the content.
STORYBOARD + SCRIPT + INTERACTIONS
Review + refinement
You review in context using Rise Review, feedback calls, or written notes. Changes are managed through clear rounds so progress stays steady.
RISE REVIEW + FEEDBACK LOOPS + REFINEMENT
Design + build
I develop the course experience end to end, combining learning design, visual design, and production in Articulate Rise. Everything is consistent, engaging, and aligned to your standards.

Let’s talk about your learning program
If you are planning new professional learning or refreshing existing programs, I would be happy to talk through your goals, audience, and delivery context.
This conversation is designed to provide clarity, not a sales pitch.
